Setting up your Alarms

The alarms can be enabled to operate on the controller buzzer, via an external alarm (needs to be set to installed), push notification by Edenic or to text/email you when using IntelliGrow.

Each of these can be silenced or enabled.

Any enabled alarm will sound when a relevant reading deviates outside user set limits.

To set manually

In 'Alarms' on the controller, set the 'Alarm Hold-Off Time', we recommend that you set the alarm delay for 1 min to avoid false alarms.

Under 'Alarms' in 'EC' you can enable or disable EC alarms and set the Minimum and Maximum EC.

Under 'Alarms' in 'pH' you can enable or disable pH alarms and set the Minimum and Maximum EC.

Under 'Alarms' in 'Temperature' you can enable or disable Temperature alarms and set the Minimum and Maximum EC.

Under 'Alarms' in 'Dosecount Alarm' you can enable or disable the Dosecount alarm. This alarm is trigger when your maximum number of doses within a hour has been reached and the Dosecount Failsafe has been enabled under 'Dosing'.

To set via Edenic

Select Controller and navigate to Device Settings.

In each settings tab for EC, pH and Temperature you can enable/disable alarms and set the minimum and maximum values.

To set via IntelliGrow

Select the reading you want to monitor and enable relevant alarms.

For example, if you want the controller to alarm when it's out of the 55- 100 Fahrenheit range, you can simply set the min and max range and enable the alarm.

See here for more information on setting up alarm notification with IntelliGrow.
