Overview

The Bluelab Conductivity Pen is a robust and reliable solution for measuring nutrient concentration and temperature in solution. With the Bluelab Conductivity Pen, you’ll ensure that your plants are getting the nutrients they need for superior plant health. 

The Conductivity Pen is factory calibrated and ready to use out of the box. Simply submerge the probe in your nutrient reservoir and take the measurement shown by the LED display.

Using the Conductivity Pen — Quick start guide

The conductivity pen comes with a battery and is ready to use out of the box. The pen is factory calibrated.

  1. Press the Power button to turn the Bluelab Conductivity Pen on. To turn pen off, press and hold the power button until OFF is displayed. The pen will turn off automatically after 4 minutes to conserve battery power. 
  2. Place the probe tip in your nutrient solution and wait for measurement to stabilise. Rinse under running tap water after use. 

Hold reading function 

To hold the reading on the display, short press the power button. To exit the hold function, press the power button again. 

To change units 

Hold the units button for 3 seconds until the conductivity and temperature units start flashing. Short press units button again to cycle between unit combinations. To exit this mode, don't press anything for 3 seconds. 

To clean

To reduce the build up of nutrients, rinse under running water after each use. The probe needs to be cleaned once a month to ensure accurate measurements.
