Configuring your IntelliDose with Edenic

In-depth guide to configuring your Bluelab IntelliDose with Edenic

Below is a brief description of each configurable setting available for the Bluelab IntelliDose in Edenic. Please note you can select "View Wiring Diagram" at any point to see how wire in your outputs based on the currently selected settings.

Device Settings

General Settings:  Configure the Temperature and EC units and date format you wish the controller to operate in.

Note: TDS units TDS 700ppm and TDS 640ppm can only be set via Edenic.

Time Settings: Day Start and Day Stop times are only needed if you want to set a different EC setpoint for day and night or if you want to set irrigation to a set time each day.

The times entered here do not have to align with the actual day time and for indoor growing they will be set to reflect the period that the lights are on.

Dosing Settings: Dose Interval is the time between EC/pH doses to allow the solution to mix in the reservoir. Selecting Proportional dosing provides the controller with a minimum and maximum dose time for EC and pH. Best used when dosing up a fresh tank. Sequential dosing ensures that the nutrient and pH pumps are not turned on at the same time. For more information visit: 

Optional Settings: Allows you to mute the internal buzzer and configure if an external alarm is to be wired in or not.

After changing any settings, you must click the Submit Changes button at the bottom to send them to the controller.


pH Settings

Dosing Settings: Configure your systems pH management via these settings. 

pH Required: Set your required systems pH level. If both has been select in pH Dosing the select the control direction of pH raise or pH Lower here.

Note: pH can only be controlled in one direction.

pH Dosing: The duration that the pH pump with dose for. When set to proportional dosing a min and max time will be configurable otherwise a single dose time will used. The controller can also be configure to disable pH Dosing if the measured pH is outside of the stated range.

pH Alarms: Alarms can be set to enabled or disabled. When enabled the alarm LED will flash on the controller and Edenic will send a push notification to your phone. The minimum and maximum pH is configurable to your system.


EC Settings

Nutrient Required: If you wish to have a different EC (TDS) for day and night then select "Different EC for day and night" when selected you can also chose to add water automatically to reduce EC. If not using a different EC then only a single EC setpoint will be used. For more information visit different EC for day and night.

Nutrient Dosing: The duration that any nutrient pumps with dose for. When set to proportional dosing a min and max time will be configurable otherwise a single dose time will used. The controller can also be configure to disable EC Dosing if the measured EC is outside of the stated range.

EC Alarms: Alarms can be set to enabled or disabled. When enabled the alarm LED will flash on the controller and Edenic will send a push notification to your phone. The minimum and maximum EC is configurable to your system.


Temperature Settings

Temperature Alarms: Alarms can be set to enabled or disabled. When enabled the alarm LED will flash on the controller and Edenic will send a push notification to your phone. The minimum and maximum Temperature is configurable to your system.


Dosing

Nutrient Parts: Select the number of Nutrient Parts required for you system. The ratio of each pump can also be individually set.
